The Brisbane artists directory was founded and launched 
         in May 2003 by Severin M7 and is primarily what the group 
         of participating artists, have made it. Since it's launch the 
         directory has developed a strong international profile, whilst 
         broadening more localized and soon with the launch of our 
         online stockroom, international income streams for local 
         artists.

         With visitors from over fifty countries on average every
         month, the directory is clearly functioning as an international 
         arts portal.
 
         Due to the nature and philosophy behind the foundation of
         the Brisbane Artists Directory, this is a completely free 
         resource for artists, galleries and collectors to utilize in 
         whichever way they choose.


         The functional promotion of events and resources will always
         be one of our ongoing motivations as will lifting the general 
         profile of artists from an emerging through established
