Work closely with dancers and choreographed own dances 
in order to get a better feel of the human fluidity.  Watercolour, 
oil and acrylic painter.  Elementary in RAD Ballet and started 
South African dance group to see how open the world was to 
South African dancing and used that skill to turn it into painting.

 

Qualifications

1997-1999 Diploma in Fine arts and Design – Andrew Owen 
school of Fine arts, South Africa.

2002-2006Diploma of Art and Creativity – the Learning 
Connexion, New Zealand.

Modus operandi

I used to be a dancer and that still influences me in almost all 
my work.  I paint figures and try to show the movement or fluidity 
within them even if they don't move.  I normally paint to music and 
that influences the mood of the painting.
