Modus operandi

Initially I started working with single layer, hand drawn 
stencils using spray paint. Over time I wanted to improve 
my pieces and to develop new effects, which I achieved by 
finding ideas in art texts and working alongside friends.

I developed my technique by looking towards traditional 
painting methods (brush selection and paint choices) and 
applying them to my work.

I use digital photography to create my stencils. Through 
Photoshop I can edit the images which become the basis 
of my work.

Through this practical learning process my pieces have 
developed into stylized, multiple layered works utilizing 
many different application and mediums.
