Modus Operandi

Personally, inspiration to paint is spawned from people 
and relationships.My current pieces are based on observations 
of people from differing backgrounds. These paintings are 
exaggerated records of detailedobservations or casual 
glimpses of ordinary people. By singling out specific characters 
and isolating them, I encourage viewers to imagine
situations and circumstances which may surround the 
people. Socially we do this everyday. An outsiders perception 
of our appearance effects our lives, our jobs and our day to day 
lives. We are inextricably swallowed up by the reaction of ‘others’ 
to our appearance.
