Looking closely at the natural world, whether through telescope,
microscope, or the naked eye,I am fascinated to observe a
harmonious, ordered creation. Every natural pattern of growth,
movement or structure conforms to a fixed vocabulary of shape
 and pattern of repetition.
In my recent work, I have drawn from microscopic imagery-
such as micro photography of cells, and macroscopic imagery-
such as aerial photographs of the earth. By emphasizing the
similarities in the rhythms and forms of the microcosm and the
macrocosm, I hope to depict the relationship between diverse
forms in nature. This idea of the unity of nature has become the
dominant theme and inspiration for my work.
I hope that my paintings express the beauty and wonder
of nature and evoke positive emotions in the viewer.
