Modus operandi

My sculptural work ranges from anthropomorphic characters in surreal
miniature environments to human sized figures, masks and iconic forms
reminiscent of mystical objects.
The themes are usually related to the human mind, the subjectivity of reality
and the beauty of life in all its bizarre forms.
My favoured materials are discarded objects, sometimes greatly transformed from
their original appearance, sometimes merely 'twisted' from their normal use.
Influences of tribal art and surrealism are evident as well as a love of texture
and wordplay.
