Published author of a book Gleaner or Gladiator: 
the struggle to create on the elusive aspects of the 
creative process, illustrated with Lyne’s paintings and 
photographs.

Qualifications

Received a BA Visual Arts USQ Toowoomba 1994
Granted an RADF / Ipswich City Council grant to illustrate 
the book, which shares Lyne’s research and journey through 
the creative process, published February 2007.

Over 15 solo exhibitions and now represented by RM galleries 
in Brisbane, Gallery O in Perth, Art Gallery Collections 
Surfers Paradise and Art Images Gallery in Adelaide. 

In 2006 was part of mixed exhibitions in the USA and 
exhibited successfully at the Shanghai Art Fair. Exhibits 
each year with Art Clique at Art Sydney and Art Melbourne.

Modus operandi

 

Lyne lives and works at Tallegalla where the mountain environment 
and a childhood growing up on an Island of the Queensland coast, 
inspires her current contemporary landscape series. She works wet 
in wet in acrylics on canvas and paints feelings using ambiguous 
landscape elements to invite the viewer to explore her world from 
their perspective.
