I am also working with coffee as a painting medium. The
resultant deep, rich sepia tones loan themselves well to
scenes of outback Australia and old, grand, sandstone
buildings and wooden structures. Coffee is natural
and earthy and this feeling emanates from the
finished works in a way no other medium can.

My current exhibition brings together my latest work for the first time since
returning to Brisbane. I paint things that I see that I consider
to be beautiful, some images are this, and nothing more.
I want people to see it and realize that beauty is all
around them and that when you can freely perceive it,
it neednt be looked for but just come naturally.
Other images I like to add a touch of the surreal to by using,
interesting views, unlikely angles and incongruous objects,
as dreams and imagination play such an important
part in my perception of the world.
With my art I hope to show people the world through my eyes
as they follow my journeys. I want viewers to challenge
the everyday, to look with their mind and heart, not
their eyes and to believe that there is still magic
left in the world.
My Journey continues to this day as I consume and absorb
as much as I can to fill my insatiable appetite.
