ZARKO BOZINOV

At first, I loved Berlin for its contemporary
galleries and then for the walks between them.
I had to dialogue with this, the graffiti, stencil
art and posters.

Tokyo was similar, although the neon kanji
was what inspired me more.

I spent less time exhibiting in the traditional
gallery framework and making art as I used
to when in Brisbane,
Spending more time on the streets, absorbing and synthesizing the culture into the new directions I'm now taking. At present, I am working on some large works. I'm currently represented by Schubert gallery on the Gold Coast. I find that art is too many things to put into words and therefore make it, instead of talk about it. I’m currently looking for artists for a group show in Brisbane.
